You’ve Been Married HOW Long?

One secret to a happy marriage is to not spend too much time asking each other if you’re happy. Talk openly and honestly – the words “yes, dear” have saved our marriage more than once. Babysitters are necessary once in a while and should be deductible on your taxes as a mental health expense. Life is short, and very few things are actually important in the long run. Being nice to each other is one of those few. Talk enough to make sure you know how to make each other happy. Don’t talk so much that you make each other unhappy. Don’t try too hard. Enjoy it!
