I’m adding yours to the list of questions women have asked about men over the years, and I will answer them all in turn – to continue to demystify the more malodorous gender for those of the gentler. Question:<\/strong>\u00a0 Why do they not admit their shortcomings?\u00a0 <\/span>My man is so anti-Mr. Fix-it that I get insanely worried when my he gets within 20 feet of the toolbox.\u00a0 <\/span>Just admit that you cannot do something so I can let the landlord know before you seriously break it!<\/em><\/p>\n Answer:<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 This is the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle in action.\u00a0 <\/span>If you weren\u2019t watching, we\u2019d call someone.\u00a0 <\/span>Or more likely, we\u2019d just leave it broken.\u00a0 <\/span>If you didn\u2019t need it all of last night, it\u2019s probably not that important.\u00a0 <\/span>But, since you\u2019re there, we feel that we need to remind you that we\u2019re better, more manly, more suitable as a mating partner than the maintenance guy \u2013 not just in bed, but everywhere.\u00a0 After all, i<\/span>f he tried doing my job, he\u2019d get fired and probably sued, or killed.\u00a0 But we could do his<\/strong> job, you betcha.\u00a0 <\/span>“Hey ya\u2019ll, watch this!”<\/p>\n The best part of this is the look on our faces when we give in, admit that we’re not going to get around to whatever that is – not that we couldn’t<\/strong>, mind you, we’re just too busy – and when the professional comes to make it all better, it’s a woman.\u00a0 Most of us just totally short-circuit, particularly if she’s cute.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n Now you know.
