I’ll confess it:\u00a0 I’m a cat person.\u00a0 I’ve had a cat or two around for most of my life.\u00a0 I don’t like dogs.\u00a0 I’m not afraid of them, I don’t hate or loathe them, I just don’t like them.\u00a0 Not my cuppa tea.\u00a0 Partly this is because of the differences in the uncertainty factor in dealing with the different animals:\u00a0 You’re alone with a strange dog or cat.\u00a0 Will the animal bite you if you come near it?\u00a0 With a dog, you just never know.\u00a0 They can be very friendly, then snap, or not, or they can be positively unfriendly, then turn out to be big soft teddy bears, or not.\u00a0 You just never know.<\/p>\n
The cat, on the other hand, will bite you.\u00a0 You always know where you stand with a cat.\u00a0<\/p>\n
So, “who let the dogs out?”\u00a0 I don’t care.\u00a0 The guy I want hunted down and shot is the guy who let the dogs record a Christmas album.\u00a0\u00a0Sing it with me now:\u00a0<\/p>\n
Arf arf arf, arf arf arf, arf arf arf arf arf.<\/em> I’m cringing just reading that.\u00a0 See, cats don’t do that.\u00a0 You won’t see 8 cats pulling a sled in the Yukon, and you’re not likely to hear them covering Meowmallow World in the Winter, either.\u00a0\u00a0 This countdown of holiday songs that suck\u00a0would be incomplete without those damn dogs, barking up the wrong Christmas tree and pissing on your presents.\u00a0 Sure, it’s cute.\u00a0 It was a neat idea, the first time –\u00a0but I’d rather raw dog a rottweiler than sit through that on the radio again.<\/p>\n But go on.\u00a0 You’re a glutton for punishment, aren’t you?<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
