So there I was, trying to type quietly so as not to wake the sleepers in the house, when Number One Son (never in the sleeping camp) came into my office this morning.\u00a0<\/p>\n
NOS:\u00a0<\/strong> Someone\u00a0must be\u00a0controlling the Roku remotely, because I was watching a video and it just went back to the menu! We went downstairs, and he stuck his head in the doorway of the Reigning Queen of Pink.\u00a0 He looked at me and said, “Well, she’s awake!”\u00a0 Yeah, I said, but she’s lying in bed quietly.\u00a0 I got him back settled in front of his show.\u00a0 As I came upstairs I noticed the Human Tape Recorder, recently 13, had her door cracked open.\u00a0 I glanced in and\u00a0saw that she was also lying in bed quietly…\u00a0 Playing with her iPod.\u00a0<\/p>\n “Hey, you can’t control the downstairs TV with that thing, can you?”<\/p>\n “If I can hear<\/strong> it from here, it’s a problem,” she said.<\/p>\n Oh, snap.<\/p>\n I told her to knock it off, and\u00a0went back downstairs and told Number One Son that I thought the signal fault might be related to the volume, and to keep it down so it didn’t happen again.\u00a0 Peace and order, restored.\u00a0 Or possibly rebooted.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Peace and order, restored.
